Publication Ethics
The International Journal of Religion and Culture (IJRAC) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing.
Responsibilities of Authors:
Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original, and if the work and/or words of others have been used, this must be appropriately cited or quoted.
Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.
Authors should disclose any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that might influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.
Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given.
Responsibilities of Editors:
Editors are responsible for making publication decisions for submitted manuscripts based on the paper’s importance, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
Editors must ensure that peer review is fair, unbiased, and timely.
Editors must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and the publisher.
Editors must take reasonable responsive measures when ethical complaints have been presented concerning a submitted or published manuscript.
Responsibilities of Reviewers:
Reviewers should assist in making editorial decisions and help authors improve the quality of their papers.
Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.
Reviews should be conducted objectively, and observations should be formulated clearly with supporting arguments.
Reviewers should not review manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.
The journal adheres to ethical guidelines based on the COPE Code of Conduct and encourages all parties involved to act with integrity and academic responsibility throughout the publication process. This journal is published 2 times a year April and October
